Doubts surround whether Pat Gilroy will be involved with the Dublin footballers again this season, reports the Irish Mirror. The St Vincent’s man wasn’t officially listed as part of the management team last year, with his role more of an advisory one, while he acted as water carrier on matchdays.
It’s well documented that the 52-year-old, a successful businessman, has significant time constraints and, with rumours sweeping the capital that he has stepped away from his Dublin role, it may well be that he simply cannot give the same level of commitment as he did last year, when he also managed his club’s senior hurling team.
