As they did early on in the first half, the Dubs have taken their chances since the restart to open up an advantage.

When Costello kicks his latest score, the Mayo players protest but referee Fergal Kelly indicates that the point will stand.

Paddy Small initially kicks wide but play is brought back for a foul, and Small manages to score the resulting free from distance.

Dublin's goalkeeper is tasked with a free, and kicks successfully to hand Dublin a narrow lead once again.

The match has restarted and there are no half-time changes to report.

Who knows which way this one is going to go…

After a strong start from Dublin, Mayo have rallied in the latter stages of the half meaning this one is delicately poised going into the break.

From a free, O'Donoghue scores his fourth score to bring Mayo back level.

With one minute of additional time to play, Cormac Costello kicks wide before the referee calls half time.

Ryan O'Donoghue is having a fine night so far and he has just added another point for Mayo.

Dublin's Lee Gannon has also picked up a yellow card for a shove.

Sean Bugler's point means Dublin are now two ahead.

Meanwhile, Mayo have made another substitution as Stephen Coen is on for Eoghan McLaughlin.

David O'Hanlon leaves his goal to join the Dublin attack and, after picking out Paddy Small, he finds Greg McEneaney. The Skerries Harps man scores for the first time tonight.

The teams are level. After a superb catch, Bob Tuohy puts enough on his shot to see it sail over David O'Hanlon's crossbar.

Mayo have pulled themselves back to within a point of Dublin thanks to three unanswered scores.

Paul Towey, having impressed last week as a substitute, brushes off a couple of challenges to score.

Mayo captain Paddy Durcan injects some urgency into their play, driving forward with intent. They win a free and Ryan O'Donoghue converts.

Moments later, O'Donoghue scores a second point - again from a free.

McCaffrey steps inside Jack Carney and curls over his second point of the evening on his weaker foot to take advantage of a turnover by Greg McEneaney.

Mayo's goalkeeper makes his way up the field to take the free and give his side a much-needed score.

Costello is fouled and, from the resulting free, has the easiest of tasks to score in front of the posts.

Dublin now lead by four points.

An early switch from Kevin McStay. Conor Reid is off injured, with Donnacha McHugh introduced.

Jack McCaffrey ghosts in behind a couple of Mayo players and latches onto a hand pass before sticking over a routine point.

Dublin edge back in front through the left boot of Brian Fenton.

Con O'Callaghan then follows it up with another point in quick succession. He was quiet last weekend, but looks sharp in these early stages.

Mayo hit back through Kilmeena's Jack Carney. One point apiece.
