The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! 2024 camp has waved goodbye to yet another favourite as Melvin Odoom was revealed as the fourth celebrity to be voted off on Tuesday's dramatic episode. The 44 year old reacted graciously, telling his fellow campers "it's good" and suggesting it was a moment to "celebrate", embracing everyone in farewell. Following closely after Tulisa's departure, and the exits of Dean McCullough and Jane Moore.

Gathering his belongings, Melvin then made his way to join presenting duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, who playfully commented on his need for a good scrub after his two-week stint amongst the trees. Exiting with a smile, Melvin shared with Ant and Dec: "I was ready to go. The best thing about that camp is the people, I loved every single person in there."

He fondly referred to Oti Mabuse as his "sister" in the camp and openly praised their deep connection in a touching comment. Speaking about his close relationship with the former Strictly Come Dancing star, Melvin said: "Oti reminds me of my sister who I am really close to. As you guys, know she's super positive and super funny at all times which you need in camp.", reports the Daily Record.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing, as Melvin later admitted he found it "difficult" adjusting to camp life, but acknowledged that he had learnt from the experience, discovering he had "quite a caring nature."

This caring nature also extended to refusing to speak negatively about his fellow campmates, including controversial character Dean McCullough, who raised eyebrows with his work ethic in the jungle.

"Dean's my boy, I don't want to throw him to the wolves," Melvin stated, maintaining diplomacy - despite having previously labelled the star "Houdini" for frequently disappearing when chores needed doing. After his exit, fans were saddened to see such a grounded star leave, with many expressing their feelings on social media.

One person posted: "Melvin is going, I can't handle anyone else leaving this camp #imaceleb."

Another commented: "MELVIN I was going to be upset no matter who it was."

Meanwhile, a third wrote: "Ohhh didnt expect melvin to go surprised maura in bottom 2 though."

Meanwhile, another viewer lamented: "Sad Melvin has gone though. Genuinely such a nice guy #imaceleb."
