And Hollywood legends Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones are the latest stars to enjoy the hustle and bustle of our capital city.
Michael Douglas marked his 80th birthday this week the same day that his wife Catherine Zeta Jones celebrated turning 55.
They were joined by Bono to mark the occassion.
Michael shared a video of Bono and Catherine singing Happy Birthday to the iconic actor while they held out a cupcake before him.
“What a lovely gift! Thank you all for your kind birthday wishes and messages! We love you all!” he captioned the video.
Catherine is currently filming Netflix series Wednesday here in Ireland with Jenna Ortega.
She reshared the video on her Instagram writing: “Thank you to you, my family and friends and my wonderful Wednesday @wednesdaynetflix family for making my birthday so wonderful. And to Bono! For well,….being Bono and making it exceptional.”
