Mrs Hinch has broken her silence months after telling fans she was experiencing 'unimaginable pain' following the heartbreaking death of her father. Sophie Hinchliffe, best known as cleaning influencer Mrs Hinch, took to Instagram back in May to share the devastating news that her beloved dad had died 'suddenly' in April.

The mum-of-two, 34, constantly keeps her 4.8m followers updated with her home and family life, and her dad Alan had been familiar with her online following having had his own workshop in her home. Her dad was also the inspiration for the name of one of her children, Lennie Alan James Hinchcliffe.

Back in May, Mrs Hinch shared a moving tribute to her dad with the first photo being a picture of them from her wedding to husband Jamie. Alongside the string of memories with her father, Sophie wrote: "25th April 2024. My precious Dad passed suddenly but so peacefully whilst he slept.

She continued: "My life, our whole world, has been turned upside down. A deep unimaginable pain I cannot put into words. My loving Dad, Your workshop is locked up and I sleep with the key. I promise to keep your workshop dream going. Until we meet and sing together again. Goodnight Dad. My absolute king. Your Bubberloo."

On Sunday (July 7), Sophie has now shared an update with her followers as she thanked them for their support, whilst admitting she feels 'broken'.

Sharing a picture of herself and her two sons Ronnie and Lennie, a series of photos read: "Grief is a pain I can't think of the words to fully explain. If it's something you've never experienced before, all I will say, is that it takes your legs from underneath you.

"I'd be lying if I said I was okay... in fact, I feel broken. I feel an extreme mix of emotions and not too much makes sense to me right now. It's like I've entered this new part of my world, where only grief sits, and it feels heavy; something I can't describe unless you've been there.

"For now, I'm really trying to navigate this new life without one of the people I love most; one of my biggest support systems. I feel like my Dad taught me everything I needed to know, except how to live without him. I wanted to come on here and say thank you so much for all the overwhelming amount of love and support. I may not be able to get back to you all right now, but I see you and I'm so so grateful."

She concluded: "Thank you for being patient with me while I try to find my feet again alongside my family, who I am SO incredibly proud of and who I love with my whole heart. All the best, love Soph xxx."

Friends and fans of the cleaning sensation took to the comments to share their support. Former The X Factor and Dancing on Ice star Jake Quickenden wrote: "True that! Sending you all love and strength."

One follower @shelley_worksharp told Sophie: "I honestly thought I'd never get over losing my Dad. I can say there's so time limit to grief. You will feel less raw and have better days but you need to grieve in your own way. Things get easier. You never get over it but you learn a new way to live. Sending you much love xx."

@beckiesbitofsparkle commented: "Thinking of you. You do find a a way eventually. It is hard and you will still have those shit days. That’s okay! I’m 2 years on without my mum & only just this morning I woke sad & upset because I miss her. But last week I was full of giggles & talking about happy memories with my girls. There is no rule book for grief you just do what suits you and your family. You step at a time. You will find your new way. X."

Another follower @cookinacurry also said: "Grief, is really love. It's all the love you want to give but cannot give. The more you loved someone, the more you grieve. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes and in that part of your chest that gets empty and hollow feeling. The happiness of love turns to sadness when unspent. Grief is love with no place to go."
