A man in his 30s remains in a critical condition after he was found with serious injuries in Mullingar early yesterday morning.
It's understood the man was the victim of an assault in the town at around 1am yesterday.
Gardaí say they discovered the man with serious injuries on Grove Street.

They're appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone with camera footage from Grove Street and the areas around it, between 12.30am and 1.30am, to make it available.
