He becomes the 34th player in Boston College history to be drafted into the NBA and the first since Jerome Robinson in 2018 (13th, Los Angeles Clippers) to hear his name called at the NBA Draft.  Post is the seventh all-time Eagle to be drafted in the second round.

The 7-footer finished his three-year career at Boston College as one of the top players in the ACC and in the nation.  He earned 2023-24 ACC All-Conference Second Team honors, while also earning a spot on the conference's All-Defensive and All-Tournament teams.

Post led Boston College in scoring, rebounding, and blocked shots, while ranking second in assists. He registered new career-highs in scoring (17.0 points per game), rebounding (8.1), assists (2.9), and blocked shots (1.7) and was the only major conference player in the country to average that per-game stat line in 2023-24.

The 7-footer was one of only two players in the ACC to rank among the top 10 in the league in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots, and field goal percentage in the regular season. He became one of only five Boston College players over the last three decades to average at least 17 points and eight rebounds per game.  Additionally, Post was one of only three players in the last 30 years to record 50 3-pointers made, 100 assists, 50 blocked shots, and 30 steals in a single season.

During the 2023-24 campaign, Post scored 20 or more points on 13 occasions, 25 or more in four games, and 30 or more points three times.  He set new single-game highs in points (31), rebounds (19), assists (9), blocked shots (6), and steals (6) - since 1996-97, no player has equalled those career-highs in a single-season.

Post was invited to play in the 2024 NABC/Reeses Division I All-Star Game and was named MVP of the East team after compiling 10 points and 11 rebounds during the showcase of some of the top seniors in the nation.  He earned his undergraduate degree in sociology from Boston College's Morrissey School of Arts and Science in 2023.
