NIALL Horan has just announced he will be going on tour for the first time in six years.

The Mullingar native is set to hit Irish shores next February as he brings his new tour The Show The Tour 2024 to Dublin and Belfast.

Horan will play Belfast's SSE Arena on February 21 and Dublin's 3 Arena on February 23.

The 2024 tour announcement comes just weeks before his new studio album also titled The Show.

The new album will be out on June 9 .

The new songs explore mental health to the infinite complexity and uncertainty of love.

Niall said: "My favourite thing in the world is being on tour. Performing my songs for my fans and sharing those incredible moments together are the reason why I write music in the first place.

"This is going to be my best tour yet and I cannot wait to see all you “lovers” on the road in 2024.

"There’s nothing better than watching the crowd sing back to you with all that emotion on their faces and knowing that they’re attaching the song to something meaningful in their own lives.

"To me, that’s always the greatest thing that can ever come from songwriting."

Tickets will be priced from €59.90 and go on sale Friday June 2 at 10am from Ticketmaster.

The album pre-order and Citi/AAdvantage presale begins on Tuesday May 30, newsletter presale begins  Wednesday June 31 and the TikTok presale begins Thursday June 1.

At the same time, Rapper 50 Cent has announced a Dublin date for his world tour.

Produced by Live Nation and presented by Sire Spirits, The Final Lap Tour will make stops across North America and Europe including Dublin, Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Amsterdam, Oslo, Paris, and more.

The artist's will be kicking off the European leg in Amsterdam on 28 September 2023.

He'll be heading to Dublin's 3Arena on November 6, 2023.

The Dublin date will also feature support from special guest Busta Rhymes, with more special guests to be announced.

50 Cent will be performing many fan-favourites and chart-topping hits alongside select tracks that have not been performed live in decades.
