New Releases: Zara Larsson, Usher, Noah Kahan, Sia & Kylie ...
Welcome to this week's New Releases, where we reveal the biggest new single, album and DVD drops of the week.
Let's kick off in albums today, where Zara Larsson blesses us with her third album, Venus, a divine gift from a pop goddess. Sharp and more focused than her previous studio efforts, Zara's worked with Rick Nowels (Lana Del Rey), Danja (Britney Spears), MNEK and production duo MTHR for most of the album.
Already including the UK Top 40 hits Can't Tame Her (banger) and David Guetta collaboration On My Love, stick around for Zara's most self-assured and cohesive body of work yet!
Usher also returns today, ahead of his SuperBowl Half-Time show performance this weekend. Coming Home is his first studio album in half a decade, and includes collaborations with the likes of Summer Walker, Burna Boy and BTS superstar Jung Kook.
Other albums arriving this week include; Little Simz's latest (Drop 7), an eclectic club-focused collection from Mercury Prize-nominated multi-hyphenate Shygirl (Club Shy) and Noah Kahan's expanded release of his breakthrough LP, containing the UK's current Number 1 single (Stick Season Forever).
As for singles this week, BRITs Rising Star nominee Caity Baser continues to pave the path to her second mixtape Still Learning. Tomorrow brings the arrival of the booming I'm A Problem. Speaking to Official Charts about the ostentatious new song, Caity says:
"I’m A Problem is the epitome of female rage and c*ntiness! It’s for all the people that are ‘too loud’ or ‘annoying’ - there is nothing wrong with being confident and living life hard!
"The people that hate on you are just jealous and they wanna be like you COS YOU’RE A PROBLEM! Feel empowered. Feel happy. Feel c*nty. And don’t let anybody get in your way. That’s what I do - life is literally a giggle so do what you want; nobody cares - stay problematic."
We can't put it better than that ourselves. Thank you, Caity!
Elsewhere, we also have new single drops from; Australian pop queens Sia & Kylie Minogue (Dance Alone), Dylan (The Alibi), Conan Gray (Lonely Dancers), Maggie Rogers (Don't Forget Me) and Madison Beer (Make You Mine).
