The best in UK television have been honoured at the National Television Awards 2024.
British stars flocked to the O2 in London for the NTAs on Wednesday night (11 September), showing off glamorous red carpet looks, with Dame Mary Berry making a sustainable statement by re-wearing the same cobalt blue gown she wore to the event 11 years ago.
Voting for the NTAs closed hours ahead of the ceremony, which was broadcast on ITV. Nominees were originally announced in August, with Mr Bates vs The Post Office and Trigger Point both receiving multiple nods.
It was an emotional evening as former This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby returned to the spotlight to huge applause. Elsewhere, Ant and Dec scooped the Best Presenter gong for the 23rd year in a row. Meanwhile, Strictly Come Dancing controversially received the Talent Show award after being hit with its biggest scandal in its 20-year history.
