Pamela Anderson debuts soft pink hair with an elegant matching gown
Pamela Anderson looked pretty in pink as she hit the red carpet this weekend, debuting not only a polished blush gown but a new hair colour to match. The actress updated her signature platinum blonde locks by adding a subtle streak of fuchsia on one side of her head, which could be seen when she attended the 72nd San Sebastián International Film Festival, for a screening of her new film The Last Showgirl.
Anderson, who plays the movie’s lead, co-ordinated her Elie Saab gown with the pastel hair hue. The cocooning dress featured long, floor-length sleeves and a delicate brooch-like clasp around the neckline. As she moved on the red carpet, the sleeves flowed behind her like a train.

The Baywatch alum has been on a no-make-up streak since last year, but on this occasion she chose to wear a touch of blusher and a bold lip. Her freshly-dyed hair was swept up in a side-parted updo, allowing the streak of magenta to pop out from her icy blonde locks.

In a recent interview with Bazaar UK, Anderson commented on how her approach to fashion and beauty has changed in recent years. “I started to feel like I was dressing for other people, whether that was husbands or just for the rest of the world and how they perceived me,” she says. “I really felt the trappings of dressing for others, and I had got to an age – or maybe just a moment in my life – where I started looking back at my journey, reflecting on what I was wearing and why.”
In The Last Showgirl, Anderson plays Shelley, a veteran performer who faces an uncertain future when she’s told that her show will be closing permanently after a 30-year run.
