Paul Hogan, famed for his role as Crocodile Dundee, is ridden with worry over the health of his son whose erratic behaviour has become increasingly concerning.
At 85, the film icon is distressed by his youngest son's unusual online posts and unkempt appearance, observed while lingering in alleyways near Paul's Venice Beach residence.
The situation is reportedly taking a toll on Hogan, who is now mulling over major life decisions, including a potential move back to his home soil of Australia. According to New Idea magazine, a close family associate has mentioned, "high time this kid got his act together and stopped stressing out his dad".

Further added was, "Paul is at a crossroads over how to handle all this. One option would be to move back to Australia, but Chance doesn't want to leave America. So they're stuck in limbo, which is so hard on Paul and very hard for his friends to sit back and watch."
Chance's worrisome Instagram displays feature him injured and shirtless inside a car with friends, cryptically suggesting an impending event. Paul had Chance with ex-spouse Linda Kozlowski.
Aside from Chance, he has three other sons - Brett, Clay, Scott, Todd, and a daughter Lauren, from his first marriage to Noelene Edwards which ended in 1986. Representatives for the Hollywood star have yet to respond to Mirror Online's request for comment, reports the Mirror.
Paul Hogan, best known for his role as Michael J. 'Crocodile' Dundee in the Crocodile Dundee trilogy, has had a successful career with the films released in 1986, 1988 and 2001 respectively.
His portrayal of the iconic character earned him a Golden Globe award and a BAFTA nomination for the first film. The trilogy was a box office success, raking in $607,202,827 (£479,623,440) and catapulting Paul to international stardom.
Besides this, he has also starred in other films like Flipper and had his own TV comedy series, The Paul Hogan Show. However, in 2018, he dismissed rumours of a new instalment in the franchise, stating: "The second one did huge business, but the third one sort of died. I thought the third one was flogging a dead horse so I don't think I will be pushing for a fourth one."
In 2022, Paul disclosed that he had been diagnosed with retroperitoneal fibrosis, an inflammatory disease that causes loss of body fat.
Speaking about his condition on Australia's A Current Affair, he said: "I've lost all my body fat. I get Chance [his 25-year-old son] to open jars for me."
"Quite a few of my friends on diets hate me... because I try and eat everything fatty and lardy you can think of. Everything they're not allowed to have. I can't put on an ounce."
Retroperitoneal fibrosis, however, is a painful condition with one of the main symptoms being described by medical experts as a "dull, vague, and difficult to localise" pain in the lower back or abdomen. It's not the only health issue the film star is dealing with, though.
