Ex-Manchester United star Paul Pogba is a man in demand as he nears the conclusion of his ban from football.
Pogba has been linked with a return to Old Trafford, with Louis Saha suggesting that Pogba might receive an offer to return to training with the club in the New Year. Pogba hasn't been on the pitch since last summer due to a four-year suspension for failing a doping test - which was subsequently reduced to 18 months.
He will be eligible to join and train with a new team come January, but he can't play until March. Having said "the nightmare is over" back in October, Pogba is now eyeing a career revival and amid tentative links with United - at least from the outside - Adrien Rabiot would like to reunite with his compatriot at Marseille.

The pair spent two seasons at Juventus together between 2022 and 2024 and have represented France together. Rabiot, who is enjoying life on the coast of France, said he would love to see his former teammate at the Ligue 1 club. "Of course, I would love to play with Paul," he told DAZN [via Be Soccer] after scoring against Saint Etienne on Sunday afternoon.
Rabiot added: "We spent some time together at Juventus - but we didn't really get to share the pitch. He's more than welcome to join. We're putting together something important [at Marseille], there's a real dynamic, it's very professional from the players to the coach and the management, and there's real ambition."
Meanwhile, Saha says a return to Old Trafford would be a "great opportunity" for the Frenchman. "He needs to get back to his best level as quickly as possible and training with top players will help him to do that," Saha told Casino Utan Spelpaus. "I think he would be thrilled to have the opportunity to go back to the club."
He also urged Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the club to make a bold move, adding: "I also think that Paul Pogba is still a very special player. When you think about midfielders, Pogba has unique qualities. I think the United squad lacks power in their midfield and we're missing a skilful player that can play box-to-box, so he would be a good addition [to the United squad] because he's a different profile of player to what United have.
"When I look at Pogba, I think that many teams in the Premier League would find signing him - as a free agent - an attractive proposition. Forget about the salary, I'm sure Paul is ready to find a compromise on that as he wants to play football again after such a long time on the side-line. When I think about Pogba, there are more positives with signing him than there are negatives, and I think he's a player that should interest Manchester United in January."
