He panicked after getting inconclusive test results back
PETE Wicks has opened up about a cancer scare that motivated him to join The Real Full Monty Christmas special.
The former Towie heartthrob will bare it all in ITV's festive special, The Real Full Monty: Jingle Balls, to raise awareness of the need to check for signs of the life-threatening disease.

Pete, 35, whose uncle suffered testicular cancer, has also revealed his own cancer scare ahead of the show airing, urging people to get any lumps checked.
He shared that he found a lump in January but ignored it for three months as it grew, blaming fear and male ego for not getting it checked.
Pete grew self-conscious of the lump and finally decided to go to his GP.
He told The Mirror: "It was affecting parts of my life, I was seeing someone and became self-conscious, but once I got through that stage it was, 'Woah, if it is cancer, what would that do to my mum?', so I plucked up the courage to stop being a big wimp about it."
The TV star, who co-hosts podcast Staying Relevant with best pal and I’m A Celeb star Sam Thompson, said he panicked after getting inconclusive test results back and had to wait three weeks to find out if the lump was cancerous or not.
"I was fearful, when you find a lump, especially down there, you think "Oh s**t". You don't want anything to be wrong with your wedding tackle,' he went on.
"I kept it to myself and didn't even tell Mum, blokes always want to be OK and never a burden - it's ego pride and not a good thing to do."
Luckily for Pete, the lump was not cancerous and he had it drained, mentioning that it could have been "devastating".
