The Met Gala has come and gone for another year but we are still thinking about all of our favourite outfits from the green and cream carpet.

One outfit that initially slid under our radar but that we're appreciating more and more as the days go on is Phoebe Dynevor's pastel pink Bridgerton-esque look (if Bridgerton became even more X-rated).

The star, who plays Daphne in the hit Netflix series, leaned into this year's Met Gala theme of ‘The Garden of Time’ with her pink gown.

Designed by Victoria Beckham, the sheer pink dress joined a host of other naked dresses on the Met steps this year, and featured hand-cut flowers and tulle complete with an asymmetrical neckline and thigh-high slit.

In fact, Dynevor was the first star (ever!) to wear a VB gown on the Met Gala carpet. “Ten-year-old me could never have seen this coming,” the actor told British Vogue in the days leading to the gala. “It has this beautiful train with flowers going all the way up it… it’s very ethereal.”

Beckham also spoke to Vogue about the gown, stating: “We decided to use vintage lace from our archives, as there was something quite romantic about reviving it and bringing it back to life – much like a sleeping beauty. [Phoebe is] such a beautiful, talented young woman and I really wanted to design the gown with her in mind – to be almost like an extension of her. We even hand-dyed the flowers to match her skin.”

Dynevor wore matching pink underwear underneath the gown that reached her belly button (as if we needed another excuse to reach for our comfiest high waisted undies).

She finished off the look with strappy heels, glowing skin, blushed, cheeks and a red lip, with her hair pulled back to place greater emphasis on the dress. Pink perfection.
