There was no way that goal was standing once we all had the chance to see Nacho shoving both of his hands in Kimmich's neck.
It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid take that well and start pressing for their equaliser, or take umbrage at a false sense of injustice and cause themselves more harm than good.

Bayern make their second sub as they attempt to hold onto their lead, replacing Sane with Kim.

After the decision to disallow the goal, Nacho reproached Kimmich for falling down too easily. The Real Madrid captain didn't agree with the referee's call, to say the least.

Everyone seemed to switch off there - and suddenly the ball was in the Bayern net. Harry Kane was not happy at all, arguing furiously with the ref. Most in the stadium were not really sure what has happened...
The Bernabeu big screens showed the VAR replay with Nacho pushing over Kimmich. Massive whistles from most of the stadium when the goal was disallowed, huge cheers from the Bayern contingent up in top corner. Whistles really loud now...

Madrid's equaliser has been disallowed for a foul by Nacho on Kimmich. A relatively simple call, as the defender pushed the Bayern player right in the face, dumping him to the ground.

Madrid have equalised but VAR is reviewing the play for a potential foul!

Davies' introduction midway through the first half when Gnabry was injured arguably turned the game. Since then Bayern been much more solid, with him filling in and tracking Fede Valverde. But still don't think anybody expected the Canada international to have that kind of impact.

Ancelotti responds to falling behind with a double switch, bringing Modric and Camavinga on for Kroos and Tchouameni.
Sometimes you can just tell when an attack is carrying so much more promise than others.
From the moment Musiala broke Real's attacking lines to kick off the counter and fed Harry Kane, it really did look on.
That said, it's the quality of Kane's switch out to Davies on the left - and then that exceptional finish - that takes advantage.
It's a sensation goal - but not just for the finish.

This is obviously a huge game where the margins are going to be so fine – therefore, credit to the performance of referee Szymon Marciniak thus far.
The Polish official has had a couple of penalty claims to look after but has managed those – and pretty much everything else – in a way that's allowed the football to do the talking.
Hopefully it continues.

Bayern show they can still hurt Madrid here, as Musiala goes by Carvajal in the box before lashing a shot that misses high.

Carvajal goes for the heroic with a difficult volley attempt from outside the box, but gets his contact all wrong.
Still, Madrid are tightening their grip on this game further and further.

Rodrygo wanted to emulate his first (non-official) goal with Real Madrid on that free kick a few moments ago. It came back in 2019 with a beautiful free kick against Bayern, but Never wasn't playing...

Two big chances for Madrid in the space of two minutes, both stopped by Neuer.
First Rodrygo sees a direct free kick pushed wide with a diving save, before Vinicius Jr has a powerful effort parried away to safety.

Bellingham knows how to get the Bernabeu crowd going with those big tackles.
Despite the fact that he hasn't scored at the same rate as the first half of the season since Christmas, he always does the dirty work for Ancelotti's side.

Early stages of this second half but we've seen a couple of promising signs for Real here.
Vinicius Jr has now got in behind twice and Bayern have done a decent job of blocking those crosses – then a third time almost delivers that crucial opening goal.
Then there's Jude Bellingham, who's starting to impose himself on matters. Two sharp touches have already stood out since the restart.
Let's see if Real build on it or that early spark fails to sustain.
