Richie, who is also a practising psychotherapist, has previously opened up about the couple's heartbreaking journey through several unsuccessful IVF attempts before conceiving Sam naturally, reports RSVP Live. He said: "He was born on a Friday. I'm only recently at the stage where I can say 'my son' without crying. Every time I talk about it or think about it in depth, I get like this.
"But when he came out, just all that other... all that other sh**e we'd gone through, it was just like...not that it didn't hurt, but none of that matters now. We are the luckiest people ever."
