In a clip that has since gone viral, Gervais and Keane established common ground by revealing their shared disdain for leaf-blowers.

While the panel was discussing their pet peeves, Gervais confided that he wanted to "ban leaf blowers".

Gervais insisted: "Why have they got leaf blowers? What are they doing?

"They are blowing leaves into the street where they are going to blow back."

Upon the revelation, all of Jill Scott, Gary Neville, and Ian Wright pointed at Keane as if to suggest a shared trait.

Scott said: "The last episode, he spoke about leaf blowers for about half an hour."

Gervais proceeded to describe them as "bad for the environment", "noisy", and "pointless" before the Republic of Ireland legend revealed what grinds his gears.

He added: "The bit that annoys me is one does it and he blows leaves down there and then the other guy's gardener blows them f***ing back where they were."

The creator of 'The Office' volunteered a solution, saying: "If they are going to do it, get a vacuum. Vacuum it up", with which Keane agreed.

Gervais proceeded to admit he hated "lateness" leading to Keane casting a knowing glance at Ian Wright, with Gary Neville asking: "Are you two brothers?"

The Corkman's disdain for leaf blowers manifested itself when used early in the morning.

The ex-Manchester United captain revealed a local annoyed him by using the noisy power tool to tidy up the garden.

Roy, 53, told pals Gary Neville, Ian Wright and Jill Scott how he was walking his dog after fireworks night at 7.15am when he heard one of the machines being used in the leafy area of Altrincham, Cheshire, where he lives.

After calling for fireworks to be banned because they scare dogs, the Irishman, who was appearing on The Overlap continued: "Do you know what else should be banned?

"I took my dog out this morning at 7.15 and where I live and someone is on the blower with the leaves at quarter past seven in the morning.

"It's a disgrace. I think it should be banned."

Jill Scott joked: "Do you think they should just leave them?"

Roy responded: "I was gonna go over and say 'people are in bed!'"

He continued his rant saying: "You're not allowed to use them. It's 8 o'clock."

Gas powered leaf blowers can reach between 80 and 90 decibels.

85dB is considered damaging to human hearing and any noise exceeding 70 dB considered too loud for residential environments.
