Robbie Keane was forced to hide in a panic room before fleeing Tel Aviv after the attack from Hamas on Israel.
Keane, who manages Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel, is reported to have been forced to take refuge in a panic room for hours alongside his assistant manager and fellow former Ireland international Rory Delap as airstrikes rained down on the city.
It is understood that both Keane and Delap have been evacuated from Israel with TalkSPORT reporting that the pair have fled to Greece.
Keane took over as manager of Tel Aviv back in June after an unsuccessful short stint as assistant manager to Sam Allardyce at Leeds United.
Before that, Keane held an assistant manager role at Middlesborough and was part of Mick McCarthy's backroom staff with Ireland.
He has long spoken about his ambition to become a manager and jumped at the chance to manage the Israeli giants.
Keane has had a very successful beginning to life as manager of Tel Aviv and the side top the league having won four and drawn one of their opening five games. They sit third in their Europa Conference League group having picked up three points from their opening two games.
