Robbie Keane has taken to social media to express his pride for his Maccabi Tel Aviv squad after their 3-1 win over Zorya in the Europa Conference League last night.
Last night's game was Tel Aviv's first since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7th reignited the Israel-Palestine conflict.
"Really proud of all our players and staff. A great team spirit and performance. Important 3 points," wrote Keane on Instagram.

Keane and his assistant manager Rory Delap were forced to flee Israel when Hamas launched their attack a month ago. Keane and Delap reportedly took shelter in a panic room for hours before being evacuated to Greece.
It has been reported that over 10,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's response to the Hamas attack, which claimed the lives of more than 1,400 people.
The former Republic of Ireland captain took over as Maccabi Tel Aviv boss in the Summer and at his unveiling, he made it clear that his focus was on football and not politics.
He told media at that press conference that "I don’t want to get into politics.”
"This is the last time I will say it. I’m here as a football man and someone that loves the game. I will certainly just focus on that but thanks for your question.”
Tel Aviv's 3-1 win over Zorya leaves them in second place in the group on six points from three games.
