TV pick of the day: Rory Gallagher: Calling Card RTÉ One, 6.30pm One of the greatest rock guitarists of all time, Rory Gallagher sold 30 million records and won fans around the world with his trademark denim shirt and battered ’61 Stratocaster. In this new documentary, family, friends and music legends like Johnny Marr, Brian May and Bob Geldof celebrate the life and work of this notoriously private man.

Against the Head RTÉ2, 8pm Daire O’Brien and guests look back at the weekend’s URC games, including Ulster v Munster and Leinster v Connacht, and look forward to the competition’s semi-finals and final.
