The opening of the new brand home for The Muff Liquor Company was attended today by celebrity investors in the company including Russell Crowe, Ronan Keating and Ryan Tubridy.

Investors Ed Sheeran and Jimmy Carr sent good wishes to the launch event, unable to attend in person today but plan to visit the new facility in the coming months.

The Muff Liquor Company was founded in 2017 by local entrepreneur Laura Bonner. The company launched its first product in early 2018 and now boasts a portfolio of award-winning spirits including vodka and gin which are potato based as well as a peated Irish whiskey.

The company also announced today that it has received an initial order for 30,000 bottles of spirits for the US market from its new distributor in the US, The Lucas Bols Company.

Lucas Bols is one of the leading cocktail and spirits players in the worldwide cocktail market and signed with the company in April of this year. The deal gives the Lucas Bols Company exclusive rights to import and distribute Muff Liquor products in the United States of America.

“We are thrilled to welcome Russell, Ryan and Ronan to our new brand home in Muff,” Laura Bonner, CEO and founder of The Muff Liquor Company said. “Together with Ed Sheeran and Jimmy Carr they have been wonderful supports of the company and I know they share our passion for creating a genuinely world-class spirit company. We are getting ready for a big push in the US market later this year and this first order is a huge statement of the confidence by The Lucas Bols Company in our brand. We have exciting plans for the US market in the second half of this year.”
