Jake Paul has been challenged to a fight by Ryan Garcia after his first round KO win against Ryan Bourland.
The social media sensation stepped foot in the ring for the 10th time as a professional on Saturday night when he faced unknown boxer Bourland in Puerto Rico. Paul was predicting a second round stoppage and he even apologised to fans after making quick work of Bourland by knocking him out with 30 seconds left in the opening round.
Garcia lashed out on Twitter after Paul's win by saying: "I can’t do this s***. I feel so f****ng bad for introducing Jake Paul to boxing. I f***ed up. I can’t allow this to happen. He’s disrespecting my sport, he’s disrespecting everything. Call my team, Jake. F*** you. I’m going to end this Jake Paul boxing thing. Bring it on Jake, I'm dead f****ng serious f*** you, hit my team up."
Paul welcomed the challenge when he questioned about Garcia's comments at his post-fight press conference. "Ryan, I love you and you know that but you’ve got to chill out bro. There’s a line but you just seem like you’re losing your mind and acting thirsty and desperate," Paul said in response.
"You're saying you're a billionaire but you've had one money fight. Just chill bro, but if you do want to fight that’s light work. You’ve got no footwork and for as long as you’ve been in the game I’m a better boxer than you." Paul's Most Valuable Promotions business partner Nakisa Bidarian also accused Garcia of copying Paul in his response to the boxer's comments.

"Ryan Garcia is basically playing the Jake Paul playbook, he’s learning everything that he does and says and acts from what Jake has already done." Garcia is almost 30kg lighter than Paul and has a fight of his own to focus on for now as he faces former undisputed lightweight world champion Devin Haney on April 20
Paul was supposed to be chief support for his close friend Amanda Serrano on the Puerto Rico card but Serrano's world title clash against Nina Meinke was cancelled just moments before it was supposed to begin, as a last-minute eye injury forced her out of the fight.
