Then there were two...Scottie Scheffler and Collin Morikawa stand side-by-side at the top of the leaderboard once more, with both men having birdied the par five eight.

Scheffler did so with a nerveless birdie putt from 12 foot, while Morikawa's delightful wedge shot set him up with a chance from five foot, which he duly took.

This is shaping up for a good old fashioned ding-dong down the back nine.

It's a four-way tie for the leadMax Homa joins the party with a birdie on the eight hole.

It's fair to say that none of the leaders have burned it up so far on the front nine, as the chasing pack continue to jostle for position.

"Missing a green with a wedge is like missing your mouth with a fork."

Sky Sports' Andrew Coltart aptly summarises Rory McIlroy's week at Augusta.

But Rory has pulled a shot back the par five fifteenth, leaving him on level par for the day.

Scheffler comes back to the pack on -6A hooked tee-shot left him in trouble and he couldn't get up and down from a green-side bunker, leading to his second bogey of the day.

Morikawa, meanwhile, narrowly missed a birdie chance from 15 feet.

Max Homa, meanwhile, has dropped back to -5.

Collin Morikawa made it a fourth par in a row as his solid start continues, and the leaderboard gets that little bit tighter.

"He's up and down like a trampoline," Butch Harmon says of Bryson DeChambeau.

"He's box office," says Nick Dougherty.

After a dramatic end to his third round, DeChambeau has kept the drama going into Sunday, with two early bogeys cancelled out by successive birdies on four and five.

Collin Morikawa could only manage a par from a similar position, as the leaderboard begins to look that little bit more daunting for the rest of the field.

It's another brilliant save from Scottie SchefflerWe asked if he was wobbling, it doesn't look like it. His short-game appears to be on the money, certainly here on the second hole where he played the most delicate of chips beautifully, before tapping in a five footer for par.

Playing partner Collin Morikawa three-putted having reached the green in two, as Scheffler retains the outright lead.

Is Scheffler wobbling?He'll have his work cut out to save par on the par five second, having failed to hit the green in regulation on both of his opening two holes.

Homa and Aberg are on the birdie-trailHaving not carded a single birdie during his third round, Max Homa wasted no time today, plotting his way brilliantly into the par five second, before tapping in a three foot putt for birdie.

His playing partner Ludvig Aberg holed a longer putt to birdie the same hole, as the second last pairing on the course put the pressure on the leaders.

McIlroy makes back-to-back birdiesHe's given himself plenty of chances this afternoon, and is finally starting to take them.

He backs up his birdie on the par five eight with another on nine. The second came after an emphatic putt from 15 feet, right into the middle of the cup. He's back to +2 for the tournament.

Scheffler shows signs of early nervesHe follows up a poor approach shot to the first with a wayward drive on the second, that ended up in a fairway bunker.
