Speaking at the Irish Film and TV Academy Awards in Dublin last night, Sharon Horgan spoke about a potential release date of the second series.
Popular drama series Bad Sisters scooped home the Best Drama award at last night's IFTA Awards, with Sharon Horgan and Anne-Marie Duff winning acting awards for their roles.
Since the end of season one, Bad Sisters fans have been keen to find out when the new series will air and Sharon Horgan who created and starred in the Apple series told us her plans for season two.
Sharon Horgan said.
"Well we start filming in September, but I don't know when it's going to come out. I mean I guess after summer 2024. It takes a while. They take ages to make.
"It's been a joy, it's been amazing that people have got behind it so much and got giddy about it."
Sharon Horgan also spoke about her upcoming show that's set to come to TV screens in the coming weeks.
"I've a show called Best Interests coming out on BBC One in June."
Horgan's stock has certainly been raised even higher after the success of Bad Sisters and fans of the series will have to wait patiently for over 12 months before they're given some new episodes to binge on.
