The new figure for The National Wax Museum Plus in Dublin this morning.

The launch ceremony featured a speech from close friend of Sinead’s and owner of the museum, Paddy Dunning, and the unveiling of the wax figure included a special dedication to marking the one year anniversary of Sinead’s passing.

The figure was created by wax artist PJ Heraghty – and will be his last after 40 years in the business.

Posting on instagram the museum shared,"We are thrilled to announce of newest wax figure - Sinead O'Connor!

Today, we celebrate PJ's latest masterpiece: a wax figure of the legendary Sinead O'Connor. This unveiling is particularly special as tomorrow marks the anniversary of Sinead’s passing. Her impact on music and culture has been profound, and it’s an honor to commemorate her with this stunning figure.

This event is also bittersweet, marking PJ Joseph Hegarty’s final contribution to The National Wax Museum Plus. We honour his incredible career and the legacy he leaves behind in every meticulously crafted figure."
