Soccer Aid

Soccer Aid returns in 2024, as England take on the Soccer Aid World XI in their annual match raising money for UNICEF.

The match was created and first organised by singer Robbie Williams in 2006. Soccer Aid for UNICEF brings the country together and helps children worldwide.

Once a year, celebrities and players from England take on the Soccer Aid World XI FC. It's usually a sellout crowd and has traditionally been played at Old Trafford in Manchester, but the venue is different this time around.

The Sporting News provides you all the details you need to know for this year's match.

When is Soccer Aid 2024?

Where is Soccer Aid 2024?

This year's match will be played at Stamford Bridge, the home of Chelsea.

Stamford Bridge has hosted the event once before, back in 2019, when the World XI won on a penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw.

What time does Soccer Aid 2024 start?

The match has a kick-off time of 7:30 p.m. but the TV broadcast will start from around 6:00 p.m.

Who is playing in Soccer Aid 2024?

Returning once again are fan favourites Usain Bolt, Sir Mo Farah, Roman Kemp, Martin Compston, and Steven Bartlett.

Football legends Jermain Defoe, Jill Scott, David James, Gary Cahill, Joe Cole, and Karen Carney are all going to be involved as well.

This year sees some new additions, such as cricketer Stuart Broad, "King of the Jungle" Sam Thompson, Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier, and perhaps most notably, former Chelsea icon Eden Hazard.

Frank Lampard teams up with Harry Redknapp and Robbie Williams to manage the England squad.

On the opposing side, a slightly awkward return to Stamford Bridge sees Mauricio Pochettino as the manager of Soccer Aid World XI less than two weeks after he parted company with Chelsea.
