Soccer Aid returns this Sunday, with sporting stars and celebrities taking part as the World XI face England at Stamford Bridge.

I’m a Celeb star and former Lioness Jill Scott will captain an England side looking to end the World XI’s winning streak. She’ll be joined by Chelsea legends Joe Cole, Gary Cahill and Karen Carney, as well as the Lionesses record goal scorer Ellen White. Cricketer Stuart Broad will take to the pitch for the first time, with entertainment stars Sam Thompson, Danny Dyer and Bobby Brazier also in the team.

England will be competing with Usain Bolt ’s side, who have won five consecutive titles. There are former Chelsea players in the World XI team, with Eden Hazard, Michael Essien, Petr Cech and John Obi Mikel taking part. They will be joined by Gladiators star Diamond, Tommy Fury, Roman Kemp, and more.

Two former Chelsea bosses will face off, with Frank Lampard joining Robbie Williams and Harry Redknapp in the England dugout, whilst Mauricio Pochettino leads the World XI.

The match is back at Stamford Bridge, having been held there in 2019 when the World XI won on penalties following a 2-2 draw. Around 40,000 supporters are expected to be in the stands as stars from sport and entertainment compete in support of UNICEF. Here is everything you need to know ahead of the match.
