Spanish insurance company hopes to raise €100m from first phase for the construction of up to 25 biofuel plants.
Spanish insurance giant Mapfre has launched a fund that will invest in biomethane plants in partnership with two other firms.
The Mapfre Energías Renovables II, FCR will aim to raise €100m in its first phase for the development of 20 to 25 plants in Spain over five years, which it said could create more than 300 jobs.
