LITTLE KNOWLEDGE

St Pat's boss Jon Daly fears he may know little about his side's opponents.

Daly has noted there has been a lot of turnover in the Luxembourg off-season, and most of the video he can get of them in action is of last year’s squad.

The Inchicore supremo said: “It’s a difficult one. Normally, you can use footage, and work out game-plans.”

He does at least have a read on top scorer Samir Hadji, who netted 23 times last season.

Daly added: “We’ve a lot of footage of them from last year. But there has been a lot of changes. But footage of the new manager, new players, is very limited.

“We’ve seen highlights of one of their games, that you can pick bits from but nothing where you get a clear idea of what they’re trying to do.

“So it’s going to be difficult. We’ll try and prepare the players as best we can with the limited footage we have.

"Their striker Hadji is decent, he scored plenty of goals last year. He looks lively, quick.

“But we’ve got players who can produce as we’ve seen with Jake Mulraney and Chris Forrester.

“No doubt, they’ll have done their homework on us. They have bought a LOITV pass!

“We’ll have a game-plan, but we’ll adapt depending on what they offer up.”
