Taylor Swift gigs cancelled in Austria
It’s due to a suspected terror plot.
Three Taylor Swift concerts have been called off in Austria.
The singer was scheduled to play at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna from this evening.
But after the Austrian government confirmed late yesterday, a planned attack at the stadium has been uncovered, organisers said they had no choice to cancel all of the shows for everyone’s safety.
Two suspects have been arrested over the alleged plan - which looked to target major events in the country's capital.
A 19-year-old man was taken into custody yesterday afternoon, and a search of his home revealed unnamed chemical substances.
Police gave no details about the second person, except that they were also arrested yesterday.
Organisers have said all tickets would be automatically refunded to fans.
