If you were unable to nab tickets in the pre-sales, here is everything you need to know to get a ticket in the general sale:

On sale times

The general sale, which is open to all, will take place from 10am this Friday, July 28 on Ticketmaster here.

Fans are advised to join the virtual waiting room from 9.30am, half an hour before the sale goes live. Head to Ticketmaster and click on the link to 'Join Waiting Room' - it might take between 10 and 30 seconds for the lobby to open.

Once the sale begins you will be placed in a queue, where you will see how many people are ahead of you to buy the tickets.

Fans should already be logged into their Ticketmaster and have a payment method ready to use in order to make sure they can secure tickets swiftly.

Ticket prices

Ticket prices for Coldplay's Dublin shows range from €80 and €180.

Regular standing tickets for Croke Park have been reported as starting at €120 while seated tickets are between €80 and €180.

There are also a number of VIP packages ranging from €300 to €500. Enhanced Experience tickets which can include band meet and greets went on presale this week for almost €1,000.

How many tickets can I buy?

In the pre-sale, fans were able to buy a maximum of four tickets, but in the general sale they can purchase up to a maximum of six general sale tickets.

What are the Infinity Tickets?

The Chris Martin-fronted group have also revealed they will be selling a limited number of more affordable Infinity Tickets for the shows.

The tickets are cheaper, costing around €20, and they must be bought in pairs. However, there is a catch, with ticket holders being unable to choose where they are sitting.

These tickets will be available at a later date, according to MCD.

MCD Promotions explained: “Coldplay have also confirmed they will make a limited number of Infinity Tickets available for the shows at a later date. Infinity Tickets are released for every Coldplay show to make the Music Of The Spheres World Tour accessible to fans for an affordable price.

“They will cost the equivalent of €20 per ticket. They are restricted to a maximum of two tickets per purchaser, and must be bought in pairs (which will be located next to each other).”
