Timothée Chalamet is dazzling on the red carpet — literally.
The 27-year-old actor is currently popping up in cities around the world while promoting his new film, Wonka — in which he plays the young, aspiring chocolatier, Willy Wonka. And his premiere looks have so far, not disappointed. Chalamet is not one to shy away from delivering a look, and during the premiere of his new film in Paris, France on Friday night, he continued to do so.
The actor opted for a simple but elegant ensemble for the French premiere, wearing a shimmering Tom Ford top from the designer's spring/summer 2024 women’s runway collection. The chainmail-style tank top glittered against the flashing paparazzi lights as Chalamet stood in front of the swirling Wonka background.

The star paired the top with tailored black pants and black boots. Despite the chilly weather of Paris in December, Chalamet didn't cover up the sheer top — proving he's a true fashionista.

Timothée Chalamet officially kicked off the Wonka press tour last week in Tokyo and was soon in London wearing a striped Alexander McQueen suit and no shirt underneath. Winter, who? The tailored suit's unique silhouette included coattails, and the actor wore it with black combat boots. The following day, Chalamet graced the London red carpet with a more classic Wonka look, wearing a maroon suit — sans undershirt — and a custom Cartier necklace made to resemble candy in honor of his character, which took a whopping 450 hours to make.
The highly-anticipated Wonka film, which follows the origins of the beloved children's novel character, was delayed being released due to a number of reasons — including the COVID-19 pandemic. Chalamet and other actors in the film were unable to promote the movie due to the Hollywood strikes, but with the union agreements being amended, Chalamet has been able to attend premieres and talk about the movie.
Wonka comes out on December 15.
