Tom Aspinall looks to become the first Brit to win a UFC heavyweight title tonight when he fights Sergei Pavlovich.
The fight is taking place for the interim heavyweight belt after undisputed champion Jon Jones was forced out of his fight against Stipe Miocic due to injury. Pavlovich was on standby as a replacement for that fight but Miocic wasn't offered a fight with the Russian, which prompted Aspinall to step up on just over two weeks notice.
Aspinall suffered a horror leg break against Curtis Blaydes last July and made a successful return to the cage this summer when he knocked out Marcin Tybura in just 73-seconds. Pavolvich has finished all of his last five fights in the first round whilst Aspinall is also known for getting the job done quickly, so here's all you need to know about their fight...

Quotes cornerPavlovich: "You can’t take an opponent lightly, I’m not underestimating him in any way. We have been training for him very hard, everything has been 100 percent serious and we had a lot of different sparring partners in the gym. This is going to be a really exciting and fun fight, a real war.”
Aspinall: "I'm pretty scared, he's a scary guy. He impresses me everywhere. He's definitely an intimidating guy but that being said that, I do my best work when I'm scared. Fear is something I have a really good relationship with and it gives me a superpower. Generally speaking, the more scared I am the better I do in the fight."
