Tottenham vs Aston Villa LIVE updates, confirmed team news and ...
Hello and welcome to football.london's live coverage of Tottenham's Premier League clash against Aston Villa.
Going into this afternoon's game on the back of two successive defeats, Ange Postecoglou's Spurs team will be looking to get back to winning ways in the capital.
That will be easier said than done, though, as Aston Villa have made a brilliant start to the campaign under Unai Emery and currently sit one place and one point behind fourth-place Spurs.
Postecoglou will once again have to contend with a number of injury and suspension issues, with Ashley Phillips the latest to join the lengthy list in the treatment room and Pape Matar Sarr potentially joining him in there.
Tottenham correspondents Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest are covering the match with all the build-up and the action as it happens on the pitch and reaction from the supporters and media.
