Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham reign is set to truly begin at Optus Stadium in Perth on Tuesday night, as Spurs take on London rivals West Ham United in a pre-season friendly.
It’s the first official fixture of what Postecoglou has called a new era for the Premier League outfit; the Australian has brought all the big guns to Perth – including Harry Kane and Son Heung-min – as he looks to get his tenure underway with a bang.
For West Ham, it’s the second of two fixtures at Optus Stadium in quick succession, following a 6-2 win over Isuzu UTE A-League club Perth Glory on Saturday night.
England international Jarrod Bowen was the star of the show on that occasion, with a brace and an assist in a classy 45-minute cameo.
