The 2024 Toy Show theme is a real holiday classic

'This is it don't get scared now!' It's that time of the year again as kids and parents count down the days until the Toy Show!

The theme of the 2024 Toy Show, hosted by a very excited Patrick Kielty, is Home Alone- 34 years after the classic holiday film was first released.

We'd advise making sure you're not shouting 'Kevin!' on a flight that's en route to Paris on Friday, and instead are cosied up in your winter warmers with a hot chocolate (or a vino, if preferred) in hand.

In true little Macaulay Culkin fashion, there'll be plenty of mischief, staircase sliding, snowball hurling and rockin' around the Christmas tree.

RTÉ production designers have created a truly incredible set that'll make you feel like you're right in the heart of the McCallisters' New York home.

Meanwhile, the RTÉ costume and make-up department has worked around the clock to ensure the talented kids of Spotlight stage school are the perfect embodiment of our beloved Home Alone characters.

For all the 90s kids in the room, the 2024 Toy Show will serve serious nostalgia and we can't wait!
