Celebrity hairdresser Trevor Sorbie has revealed his battle with bowel cancer is terminal, as he gave a heartbreaking health update that he may have "just weeks to live".
The 75-year-old Scots stylist issued the sad update during his appearance on This Morning on Wednesday, revealing he was informed back in June that he has around six months left according to health professionals.
He said: "I lost a lot of blood one night and was unusually disturbed so went to hospital. They told me I had bowel cancer and I had a little panic attack.
"I looked at Carol and she looked at me, we were both speechless, didn’t know what to say. So I went and had a big gin and tonic."
Trevor previously revealed the devastating side affects that chemotherapy had, a loss of feeling in his fingers.
The Paisley-born hairdresser – who has fashioned the hair of the Queen, Lorraine Kelly, Robbie Williams and Helen Mirren among many others – was forced to call time on his impressive five-decade career following the news last year.

Proudly operating a string of salons from London to Dubai, Trevor devoted himself to a charity helping cancer sufferers beat hair loss.
Trevor admitted the heartbreaking reality he might not make it until Christmas, but is determined to stay positive. He had continued powering through his work two days a week until a few weeks ago and said it is "his medicine and my life."
He told ITV hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard: "Sixty years I’ve worked passionately to achieve beyond my wildest dreams. When I go in it’s my staff, I’ve had them for 30 years, I’m just one of the team.
"I had a nurse come round the other day to assess me and as I asked 'Will I make Christmas?' She said 'I don’t know Trevor' I said 'I damn well will'. The brain rules the body. The heart plays a big part as well but that is the engine.'"
