After drawing with Division 1A leaders Clontarf last time out, Ballynahinch are heading to UCD intent on stretching their run of unbeaten games to four; by making it three wins and that draw.

Hinch are boosted by having Ulster player Greg Jones in their ranks for his first outing of the season as they meet the Dublin students who are fifth and just one place and three points below them in the table.

Ben Carson, Aaron Sexton and James French are also in Hinch’s ranks along with regular club players Kyle and Zack McCall as well as Mark Best.

Seventh-placed City of Armagh are at Young Munster, who are eighth, in what looks a vital game for Chris Parker’s squad as they bid to halt a two-match losing run.

“We know we just need to tidy up some aspects of our game and hopefully we have been able to do that this week,” said Parker who has Neil Faloon back from injury though James McNabney is again with Ulster.

In 1B, Sixth-placed Queen’s University need to halt a worrying three consecutive losses when they host Highfield.

The students have Lorcan McLoughlin, Joe Hopes and Charlie Irvine in their squad.

All three Ulster clubs in 2A are situated in the wrong area of the table and, as such, today’s Ulster derby between Ballymena (ninth) and Banbridge (seventh) looks a must-win for both sides. Bann have Zac Solomon on their bench for the trip to Eaton Park. Basement team Malone are at leaders Nenagh.

As for 2B, leaders Instonians are at home to struggling Malahide and have all four Whitten brothers in their starting side.

Rainey, in fifth, host Skerries but do so without Tommy O’Hagan and Mark Lee while seventh-placed Belfast Harlequins go to Sligo. Dungannon are home to Corinthians.

Leaders of 2C, Clogher Valley are at Galwegians and there is an Ulster derby as bottom side Bangor host Omagh.
