Cotton: The Fabric of Victoria's Secret - AG INFORMATION ...

Victoria’s Secret & Co. has just been recognized with a Silver Anthem Award for Sustainability, Environment & Climate—and it’s all thanks to their collaboration with four family cotton farms in Alabama. One of these farms is Black-owned, and three are women-owned, making this partnership as diverse as it is impactful.

By working directly with these farms, Victoria’s Secret has bypassed the traditional supply chain. Instead of relying on intermediaries to process and ship cotton in bulk, they’ve created a transparent relationship that ensures farmers receive 100% of the proceeds from their crops. This innovative approach supports the land, livelihoods, and communities of these cotton producers, laying the foundation for a sustainable future.

Melinda McAfee of Victoria’s Secret calls it a “positive impact” for women and sustainability.

And the good news doesn’t stop there—Victoria’s Secret also won Bronze for their first-ever Adaptive Collection, an inclusive line designed for women with disabilities.

So there you have it, Victoria’s Secret is weaving cotton, community, and innovation into the fabric of their success!
