High temperatures of 17C and 'changeable' weather to come – Met ...
The rest of this week is expected to be rather cloudy and rainy, with highs of 17C, Met Éireann has said.
Today is set to be mostly cloudy, dry and very mild. Some patches of drizzle are expected while the hill and coastal fog might linger in the southern and eastern parts.
The other areas might see a brighter spell as temperatures will range between 14 and 17C, with fresher winds near western coasts.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy and mild with a few patches of mist and drizzle, especially in the southern areas.
Temperatures on Wednesday night will drop to 11 and 14C, with strong winds off the west coast.
Tomorrow might see rather breezy and cloudy conditions. It will be dry for many while some patches of rain or drizzle are expected, especially in the south and southwest.
Temperatures will range between 12 and 15C, with strong winds at times near Atlantic coasts.
Thursday night will be mostly cloudy with some patchy rain and drizzle in parts.
However, there will be heavier and more persistent rain developing in parts of the west and southwest. Temperatures will drop to 10 and 12C.
This week will see changeable weather with plenty of clouds and occasional rainfall, Met Éireann has said.
Friday will bring scattered outbreaks of rain, which will be persistent in parts of the west and south. There might be light and patchy rain elsewhere, with a lot of dry weather.
It will be cloudy on Friday with limited brighter spells and highest temperatures of 12 and 15C.
Outbreaks of rain spreading eastwards across the country are expected on Friday night, with some clear spells developing later in the west and southwest as it will turn cooler there with winds dropping off light. Temperatures are set to drop to 6 and 11C.
