Met Éireann’s forecasters have conversed with the spirits to foretell whether Ireland’s little ghouls and goblins are in for a trick or a treat as they knock on doors looking for sweets this Halloween.
To start, it will be another largely dry day with some sunny spells and the odd spot of rain and drizzle on Tuesday.
Met Éireann has forecast highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees, dropping to lows of 9 to 11 degrees overnight.
Tomorrow will continue the trend of dry and cloudy conditions interspersed with light rain and drizzle as temperatures reach highs of 14 to 17 degrees.

The outlook for the coming days – including Thursday, when trick-or-treating begins for children across the country – follows the same pattern of dry, cloudy with some patchy rain.
Halloween night will be cloudy with some patchy rain in the northwest as temperatures drop between 7 to 11 degrees overnight.
Friday and Saturday will also be mostly dry with some sunny spells and temperatures between 12 to 15 degrees.
The current outlook for next weekend shows largely dry and cloudy conditions persisting into Sunday and early next week.
