Storm Lilian which has been named by weather forecasters in the UK, will impact Ireland overnight, with localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
The warnings affects the middle of the country from 10pm and a second warning will affect the southern half of Ireland from midnight.
Brandon Creagh from Met Éireann explains what can be expected in different areas:
"The centre of the low pressure system is kind of expected to cross across the middle of the country. There with the heaviest rainfall is usually expected north of the low pressure system and the strongest winds are expected south of the centre of the low pressure system. So yes, the southern half of the country is where we'll get the strongest winds and slightly further north then is where we'll get the heaviest rainfall."
