Brian Kennedy steps away from music with 'immediate effect'

Singer Brian Kennedy has stepped away from music to focus on "elevating his health."
The Irish singer's team took to social media to announce the news.
"Hello All, with immediate effect following Doctors Advice BK is stepping away from All gigs for the next couple of months to really focus on elevating his health," they wrote on Facebook.
"Please be assured there is nothing Sinister going on."

The team went on to say that Brian wanted to thank his fans for their support, adding that he is "determined to return to his old self in time."
Kennedy's upcoming gigs, including shows in Limerick, Cork, Wexford, Derry and Monaghan have been postponed.
His team explained: "The upcoming shows are now postponed and another date will eventually be organised in time where possible or a refund".
They announced that the singer is taking a break from social media, and that details will be available on his website "over time".
