Zabarnyi played 90 minutes against Bosnia and Herzegovina in their first Euro 2024 knockout play-off match as they were 2-1 winners, thanks to a late goal from Artem Dovbyk.

Having found themselves maybe hard done by not to qualify from the initial group stage, they now have the chance to get to the tournament on Tuesday when Ukraine host Iceland on Tuesday in Wroclaw, Poland, due to Russia's invasion of their country.

In Cardiff, Wales were comprehensive winners over Finland, with Brooks – currently on loan to Southampton - giving the home side the perfect start as he scored a lovely finish in the area after just three minutes.

Neco Williams, Brennan Johnson and Dan James scored the other goals, while Mepham played 90 minutes for the Red Dragons, while Kieffer Moore came on for Brooks just after the hour.

That big win sets up Tuesday's play-off final against Poland, played over one leg at Cardiff City Stadium, for the chance to qualify for a third successive European Championship.
