The GAA will be a different organisation in three years to what it is today, former President and chair of the Integration Steering Group (ISG) Mary McAleese said at today's confirmation that 2027 is the target date for completion of the merger between the three organisations.

Representatives of the GAA, LGFA and Camogie Association were all in Croke Park for the announcement which did not set out a stage roadmap but was strong in its commitment that the task would be complete by 2027.
