Take care!

Two goals from an unlikely source sets St Pat's on their way, writes Seán O'Connor:

The 0-0 draw between Shelbourne and Derry City won't live long in the memory. Here is Daniel McDonnell's take on it:

Read about how Shamrock Rovers overcame Waterford on the road:

Premier Division results at a glance:

Leaders Shelbourne remain unbeaten with a draw at home to Derry City, who are level with Sligo Rovers and Shamrock Rovers on 12 points. The Hoops make it three wins on the spin to move up into the chasing pack behind Shels. An important result for St Pat's as Jon Daly's side claim a first victory since March 8. The tough times continue for Dundalk after a scoreless draw with their Louth rivals.

Full-time: Athlone Town 1-0 Treaty United

Full-time: St Patrick's Athletic 3-0 Sligo RoversSeán O'Connor looks back on a good night for the Saints:

Luke Turner’s first-half brace and Mason Melia’s stunning late strike prove the difference as Jon Daly’s side pick up a much-needed win ahead of Friday’s home date with the champions.

Brandon Kavanagh and Alex Nolan also impressed, while Sligo will be anxiously awaiting an update on defender Nando Pijnaker, who was taken to hospital in Dublin after a nasty clash of heads in the second half.

Full-time: Shelbourne 0-0 Derry City

A point apiece for Damien Duff's men and the visiting Candystripes. Daniel McDonnell sums it up:

Lively on the sidelines but a lack of quality on the pitch when it came to the crunch.

Shels have extended their lead at the top of the table to eight points as a consequence, though.

Full-time: Finn Harps 2-0 Bray Wanderers

Full-time: Waterford 1-2 Shamrock Rovers

Still no goals to report between Shelbourne and Derry City as we reach the 90-minute mark. Here's Daniel McDonnell:

Would like to be providing more updates from Tolka Park but there isn't a huge amount happening.

The second half has been peppered by stoppages and portions of the 3,932 crowd are filtering in the direction of the exits.

Harps add a second

On 90 minutes, Tony McNamee makes sure of a home win over Bray at Finn Park.

Melia puts result beyond doubt for Saints

As Seán O'Connor explains, the home team have their third thanks to a teenager with enormous potential:

St Pat’s make sure of the three points as 16-year-old substitute Mason Melia finds the bottom corner with a peach from outside the box, courtesy of a fine pass by Anto Breslin.

Penalty shout turned down, Daly cautioned

St Pat's are on course for a vital win but they want a third goal to put the game to bed.

Seán O'Connor: Saints boss Jon Daly booked for his protests as his side are denied a stonewall penalty after Reece Hutchinson pulls Brandon Kavanagh’s shirt back.

More on that serious injury to Sligo Rovers defender Nando Pijnaker

Here's Seán O'Connor: Thankfully Pijnaker appears to be moving as he’s stretchered off into the ambulance.

Conor Reynolds replaces him and the game gets underway after an eight-minute delay.

Pico puts champions in the driving seat!

Shamrock Rovers are back in front at the RSC. Conan Noonan's cross is an inviting one, and substitute Pico Lopes gets in front of his man to glance into the back of the net.

Daniel McDonnell reporting from Shels-Derry, where it remains scoreless:

Still low on goalscoring chances at Tolka. Derry sub Danny Mullan – the replacement for Pat Hoban who was clearly feeling the effects of his injury – just off target with a snapshot.

Shels have had the better chances from counter attacks but poor decision making has let them down.

Worrying scenes at Richmond Park

Play has been stopped temporarily, as Seán O'Connor reports:

Real concern over Sligo Rovers players Nando Pijnaker and Ed McGinty as the pair clash heads while attempting to clear the ball. Both are receiving treatment by the two sets of medical teams.

McGinty looks to be okay thankfully, but New Zealand international Pijnaker is still receiving treatment.

Pijnaker remains in the recovery position and it looks like an ambulance will make its way onto the pitch.
