Seamus Power is two shots off the lead going into the second round of the RBC Heritage on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.
The Waterford man hit an opening round 65 at the prestigious tournament, which included seven birdies, four of which came on the opening five holes, and one bogey.
It leaves him joint-second on six-under-par alongside Collin Morikawa and two shots behind outright leader J.T. Poston.

Rory McIlroy is two shots further back from Power after an opening round 67 on Thursday as he mixed an eagle on the par-five fifth with three birdies and one bogey.
Meanwhile, Shane Lowry hit a one-under par 70, with the Offaly man recovering from a double bogey on the fourth to get four birdies, as well as a bogey.
